High performance

The Creation Workstation brings yet another new and exciting innovation to desktop fabrication. Simply hook up a webcam to your computer and FabCAM will use Augmented Reality to project a scaled 3D model of the project onto your video feed of the work table, allowing you to see the size, shape and extents of your project before you start. You can catch mistakes, see if the project is too big or interfering with any aspect of the workspace and if it's oriented correctly before wasting any time or materials finding out the hard way.

For those users working in sensitive environments the Creation Workstation has an optional custom-built isolation enclosure designed to contain noise, smoke or debris from whatever task you apply it to. So whether you are working in a busy makerspace or just one door down from a sleeping infant, the Creation Workstation is still the best solution for your project.

The Creation Workstation is a very capable and proven desktop CNC machine with 300W purpose-built spindle. It's native 4000 steps per inch can be increased to a super-high resolution of 32000 steps per inch by simply selecting microstepping on-screen. We have many customers around the world using our CNC machines with the ease of FabCAM to routinely create, prototype and build all sorts of projects. From orthodic shoe implants, to custom engraving, to model railroad parts our machine is well proven in the field.

No weak lasers around here! Our 2.8 Watt laser (rated, measured at 3W+) makes short work of most any etching and material cutting. FabCAM software converts milling or engraving GCode to laser code at the push of a button. FabCAM's image processing converts images to laser intensity arrays to etch images into the surface of your project material. All Creation Workstations with Laser Heads come with protective glasses for the safety of the user.

The Creation Workstation uses a MK8 extruder head with a 0.3mm nozzle using 1.75mm filament. Temperature to the extruder head and optional heated bed is controlled by it's own microprocessor with a temp readout LCD display. FabCAM software switches modes between 3D printing and the other modes at the click of a button and our system firmware shifts gears into 3D printing mode on-command. Because these functions are all integrated into our own software and firmware there is no configuration or complicated setup. It simply works well and all controls are available in real-time on-screen.
